The Ultimate Amenity

Life on the shore speaks to the needs of both mind and body. The Palm Beach condos at 3550 South Ocean provide an amazing array of amenities with this idea at the fore. Private beach access, on-site storage for residents’ kayaks and paddleboards, a beachfront swimming pool and sun terrace, a naturally lit fitness studio, bike racks, and a pet park are just a few of the perks for those with an active lifestyle. But what truly sets 3550 South Ocean apart from other Palm Beach condominiums is its access to one of the country’s highest rated spas: Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa.

Residents of 3550 South Ocean will enjoy exclusive benefits at Eau Palm Beach, which is just a short walk away. One of only two Forbes Five-Star rated properties in Palm Beach (with only eight in the entire state), Eau Palm Beach was also ranked the number one “Top Resort” in Florida, as part of Condé Nast Traveler’s 2016 Readers’ Choice Awards, and it’s truly a playground for those
calling the Gold Coast home. The resort sits upon its own private beach and seven acres of oceanfront replete with tropical gardens. An oasis within an oasis, the spa asks that you “prepare to be spoiled rotten” within its “joyful 42,000 square feet of playful relaxation, devoted to you and everything you love most.” Indulge, devote yourself to being pampered, or find true relaxation within these confines—it’s all at your fingertips as a resident at 3550 South Ocean.

Treatments here are celebrated with champagne, Ibiza beats, and their signature cupcakes. A full menu of skin care awaits, as well as facial options to satisfy all needs and wants. Hot oil or hot stones? Deep tissue or warm body butter and silk massage? Choose one or try them all; it matters not, for you live here now. Couples options and prenatal offerings round out packages to suit everyone. And when you’re done, take a turn at the salon to refresh your style, brighten your nails, or have your makeup done for that special day, event, or evening out. AND men will also rejoice at the full menu of offerings—just for them. Straight razor shaves, golf and spa packages, and even a brew and buff mani and pedi options are “on tap.” Don’t forget to take a stretch with one of their fitness classes—before or after your appointment.

While the spa is the elite luxury experience at Eau Palm Beach, the grounds and various spaces bring an equally satisfying bit of solitude and peace that’s within easy reach of your condo. The Self-Centered Garden boasts draped cabanas within a lush garden. You can also lounge (or play) in the swinging chairs or take a splash in the pool. The spa recommends that you bring your own champagne and make it a day. For even greater privacy, enjoy the Garden Villas before your treatment. It features a luxurious boudoir all your own, where you’ll have the opportunity to “bathe alfresco in a giant tub or shower beneath
brilliant blue skies” or simply relax in your robe, bathed in the warmth of the Florida sun. The choice is yours. However you decide to experience Eau Palm Beach, you’ll quickly realize that the amenities here perfectly complement those at 3550 South Ocean, especially when it comes to satisfying your own passion for wellness. Substantially awarded and internationally recognized, Eau Palm Beach offers an exquisite experience that now belongs to you.

A Perfect Saturday

From sunrise to sundown, the Palm Beach condos at 3550 South Ocean offer an ideal location to
live the Palm Beach lifestyle. For those who regularly venture out beyond the break to enjoy the
surf, paddleboard and kayak storage is provided. And for deep indulgence, the Eau Palm Beach
Resort & Spa, a Forbes five-star property, is a short stroll down the shore. When considering
Palm Beach luxury condos for sale, there’s no place quite like 3550 South Ocean.

At the start of each Saturday, you may be tempted to craft a premier weekend breakfast,
cooking in an expansive chef-caliber Molteni kitchen designed by DDG and Champalimaud.
Alternatively, for a leisurely and casual breakfast out, head to John G’s, a local fixture since 1973
where you can order an omelet to pair with your coffee and morning paper.

While golf may have been invented in the rainy Scottish Highlands, it has been perfected in the
sunshine of Palm Beach County. Boasting more than 160 courses, host to a number of
tournaments, and home to some of the best players in the world, naturally the courses here are
among the finest and most picturesque. PGA National is a short drive away and features 5
absolutely incredible golf courses, as well as elite practice facilities. If you’re pressed for time, or
just want to devote some time to shoring up your short game, book a round at Golf on the
Ocean at Palm Beach’s Par 3 course, which is practically in your backyard.

As Florida’s culture capital, Palm Beach is home to a thriving gallery scene. Collectors and those
who appreciate fine art will find a vast array of spaces displaying painting, sculpture, and
photography. Spend an afternoon walking the boulevards looking for your next acquisition. If
you’re not in the market for a new piece, you can head to the Norton Museum of Art, which will
be reopening in early February 2019 after an ambitious expansion. With more than 7,600 works
from European, American, Chinese, Contemporary and Photography curatorial departments, it’s
no surprise that the Norton has acquired several masterworks. The museum also welcomes an
impressive diversity of established and emerging artists and showcases them with exhibitions
such as the Recognition of Art by Women (RAW) series and the biennial Rudin Prize for
Emerging Photographers.

Finish your day at the Eau Palm Beach Spa. Indulge in a full selection of traditional treatments or
massages, treat yourself to a mani and pedi, or book time at the salon. When your spa therapy is
complete, stay for dinner at the resort and book a table at Angle. A modern American
experience, Angle celebrates “farm-to-fork cuisine,” including line-caught fish and other local
South Florida specialties. The dayboat sea scallops are divine. And we never say “no” to starting
with the caviar.

Making Homes and Waves in South Palm Beach

Picture this: against the backdrop of a dramatic Palm Beach sunset, influencers mingle over fresh and creative food from the local culinary scene; engaging with familiar personalities from the social media firmament as they sip champagne; and local conservation workers describe their local efforts to ensure the survival of sea turtles; all this, while the details of a new project, the South Palm Beach oceanfront condos for sale at 3550 South Ocean, come into focus. This dreamy scenario is precisely what took place at a recent event hosted by 3550 South Ocean, which brought together local experts and influencers at their posh Sales Gallery on October 22nd from 5:30 – 7:30 pm.

The event was co-hosted by local food blogger Cristyle, a rapidly rising star in the food blogosphere. Her platform, Eat Palm Beach, has earned a reputation as the go-to guide for Palm Beach foodies and gastronomes, whether they’re homegrown or new to the area’s restaurants. The mantra of Eat Palm Beach is simple: “We eat. We blog. We do it again.” That’s a workflow we can get behind. As a result of this cycle, Eat Palm Beach has captured a treasure trove of valuable information; there are restaurant reviews, chef interviews, and itineraries for an ideal weekend getaway. Cristyle herself brings a fresh take on the Palm Beach scene, one that privileges vivid, colorful, unpretentious food. This approach has earned her a massive social media following and made her one of the most significant voices in the local gourmet world.

It should come as no surprise, then, that the bites at the event were provided by Eau Palm Beach Resort. This high-end resort has a reputation for their attention—rather, obsession—with the details. No corner of the resort experience has been forgotten; modern art permeates the space, and the interior design choices of Jonathan Adler lend a sense of playfulness and joy to the rooms. It makes sense, then, that the dining experience they offer is as richly thought-out as their other services. As they say, “food is meant to be lingered over, savored, and paired with ocean views.” In the case of this event, it made for a like-worthy picture and post as well.

Though the event presented the chance to indulge in sumptuous food and atmosphere while rubbing shoulders with Palm Beach neighbors and luminaries, it was much more than that. Representatives from Loggerhead Marinelife Center were present to share information about the work they do in the area. The center’s mission is to “promote conservation of ocean ecosystems with a special focus on threatened and endangered sea turtles,” a fight that takes place on many fronts because sea turtles face an array of obstacles to their survival, including seemingly harmless human activities like fishing. Loose fishing line and netting in the ocean is deadly for marine life, quickly entangling, strangling, and drowning many of these majestic animals. The Loggerhead Marine Center collects fishing line and netting material from several recycling stations, preventing hundreds of pounds of monofilament from ending up in the ocean. It also runs a hospital for injured sea turtles. One sea turtle, the adorably named “Gavin,” has his own webcam, where you can watch his recovery and cheer him on.

As with any gathering that combines influencers, sea turtle advocates, local bites and the Palm Beach condos at 3550 South Ocean, the evening was a success. Stay tuned; future parties are on the horizon.
